Research on Folktales in Hunan for Seventy Years

湖南民间故事研究可分为两个方向:采录与学术。湖南民间故事系统的搜集工作始于20世纪初,前期与民族文化的发现交织在一起,后期受政策影响开始有规模、有组织、有计划的进行,并于80年代发展至高潮,推动湖南民间文学学科的建立,故事研究也逐渐兴起,围绕文本和讲述人进行了多重探讨。21世纪以来,湖南民间故事研究队伍萎缩严重,虽然在文本与语境研究方面有所发展,但仍桎梏于以往的研究范式,缺乏问题意识和创新性。

The research of hunan folktales can be divided into two directions:collection works and academic studies and academic studies.The systematic collection work of Hunan folktales began in the early 20th century,the early stage was interwoven with the discovery of national culture,and the later stage began to be carried out on a scale,in an organized way and in a planned way under the influence of policies.The development reached a climax in the 1980s,which promoted the establishment of the discipline of folk literature in Hunan province.The study of folktales also rose gradually,and multiple discussions were conducted around texts and narrators.After the 21st century,the research team of folktales in Hunan province has been seriously shrinking.Although the research on text and context has developed,it is still restricted by the previous research paradigm and lacks of problem awareness and innovation.
