Corrosion is an important factor affecting the safety of naval ship structure and it should be fully considered in ship structure design.The general situation of the standards for the selection of corrosion allowance of ship structures at home and abroad are expounded.The main characteristics of the relevant standards for corrosion allowance of ship structures summarized.The selection requirements of corrosion allowance for different parts of hull structures in different codes are compared and analyzed.The suggestions on the standardization of naval ship structure corrosion allowance are put forward.It could provide a reference for the revision and improvement of our naval ship rules.
