Positive Interaction Between Financial Development and Technological Innovation:Theoretical and Empirical Analysis

金融是现代经济发展的核心,科技创新是一国经济能够持续快速增长的动力,两者都是影响经济增长的重要因素,且存在双向影响、良性互动的关系。文章从理论上分析金融发展与科技创新的良性互动机制,基于PVAR模型从实证上检验我国金融发展与科技创新是否存在良性互动,并分析区域差异性。实证结果显示,从全国和东部地区来看,金融发展和科技创新存在着良性互动,但是金融发展与科技创新之间良性互动的程度较低,中部和西部地区只形成金融发展支持科技创新单向关系,并没有形成科技创新促进金融发展的关系。

Finance is the core of modern economic development,and technological innovation is the driving force for a country's sustained and rapid economic growth.Both of them are important factors affecting economic growth,and there is a relationship of two-way influence and positive interaction.This paper theoretically analyzes the positive interaction mechanism between financial development and technological innovation,empirically tests whether there is a positive interaction between financial development and technological innovation in China based on PVAR model,and analyzes regional differences of the positive interaction.The empirical results show that there is a positive interaction between financial development and technological innovation in the whole country and the east of the country,but the positive interaction between financial development and technological innovation is rela⁃tively low.The central and western regions only form a one-way relationship of financial development supporting technological innovation,but not the relationship of technological innovation promoting financial development.
