当今传统图书馆自动化系统面临缺乏整合开放功能与无法有效管理多元化资源的困境。图书馆管理系统处在亟须淘汰与更新的转折点上,为顺应云计算与大数据应用的趋势,图书馆管理系统需有根本性的改变。除改善现有图书馆自动化系统的不足,还要开创崭新独特的应用服务满足未来能整合多种资源的单一化管理平台的需求。文章通过系统比较当前市场占有率最高的两大商业系统Alma及WMS,探究两厂商研发、云技术、系统特点、市场分析、延伸开创性应用等方面,评析各系统的强弱差异与发展现况,供图书馆选择系统时参考,并指明图书馆服务平台的研发方向。

Nowadays,libraries are trapped in a dilemma that a traditional ILS system is unable to support increasingly complex multi-resource management and its closed architectures restrict the system integration and service innovation.With the growing application trend of cloud computing and big data,library management system needs fundamental changes.Apart from the efforts to improve the present automatic system,we are obliged to build a platform that facilitates the integration of multiple resources and explores creative applications.Through studies on Alma and WMS,which outsell other commercial systems in the world market,the paper compares features of the two providers from the aspect of cloud technology,features of the system,market analysis and extending services.The goal is to identify advantages and weaknesses of the two systems for a better choice of libraries,so as to provide a blueprint for the development of service platforms.
