To explore the infection prevention and control strategies at the subsequent visit in the pathology department of low-risk area hospitals during the time of COVID-19 outbreaks.According to the conventional work process of the pathology department,for the COVID-19 outbreaks,the prevention and control strategies were proposed.A number of measures have been taken to prevent cross-infection and environmental pollution in pathology departments during the COVID-19 outbreaks.Staff of the pathology department should strengthen the training on nosocomial infection in the context of COVID-19 outbreaks,strictly comply with the relevant laboratory standard operation specifications,enhance the awareness of self-protection.
