对比语言学视域下中华优秀传统文化的传播

The Dissemination of Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture from the Perspective of Contrastive Linguistics

采用对比语言学视角,以中国龙和西方"dragon"为例,探讨中华优秀传统文化的对外交流与传播。研究发现:从词源学角度,中国龙和西方"dragon"的来源大不相同,繁体字的"龙"为形声字,根源于象形文字,而"dragon"的词根为动词;从语义学角度,二者的概念义和隐喻义差别巨大;上述差异是东西方思维与文化差异在语言上的体现。要更好地传播中国文化,讲好中国故事,应重视语言学的作用。

Using the perspective of contrastive linguistics, taking the Chinese dragon and the western " dragon" as examples, this article discusses the foreign exchange and spread of Chinese excellent traditional culture. The research found that: from the perspective of etymology, the origins of Chinese dragon and western " dragon" are quite different. The traditional Chinese " dragon" is a pictophonetic character, which is rooted in hieroglyphics,while the root of " dragon" is a verb;from a semantic perspective, the conceptual and metaphorical meanings of the two differ greatly;the above-mentioned differences are the manifestations of the differences between Eastern and Western thinking and culture in language. To better spread Chinese culture and tell Chinese stories well, we should pay attention to the role of linguistics.
