刘元卿是明代江右王门代表性的思想家之一,也是卓有成就的教育家。刘元卿一生主要从事教育事业,教育实践包括创办书院、举办讲会、受邀到各地主盟讲会、礼请同道来讲学等,教育思想主要包括“孔子贤于尧舜”的教育价值观和融合儒家仁学的教育思想。仁学是其整个教育的核心、灵魂。

Liu Yuanqing was one of the representative thinkers of Yangming School of Jiangyou in the Ming Dynasty.He was also an accomplished educator.During his life.His educational practice included founding colleges,conducting lectures,invited well-known scholars to give lectures.His educational thoughts mainly include the educational values of"Confucius is more virtuous than Yao and Shun"and confucian benevolence.Benevolence is the core and soul of his entire educational thoughts.
