南京林业大学三座明代徐达家族墓发掘简报

The Excavation of Three Tombs of Xu Da's Family of the Ming Dynasty at Nanjing Forestry University

徐达,明朝开国元勋,封魏国公,死后赠中山王,谥武宁。徐达墓位于今南京市玄武区板仓街、花园路交汇处。中华人民共和国成立以来,南京市考古部门在徐达墓周边陆续发掘了十余座徐达家族墓葬[1]。2011年,南京市考古研究院(原南京市博物馆考古部)在徐达墓北侧、南京林业大学校园东南部的南大山南坡清理了徐达六世孙徐世礼夫妇合葬墓、徐达五世孙徐伯宽夫妇合葬墓[2]。

Xu Da's tomb was located at the junction of the present day Bancang Street and Huayuan Road in Xuanwu District,Nanjing.From July to December 2012,Nanjing Municipal Institute of Archaeology conducted an excavation of 46 tombs dated from the Six Dynasties to the Ming Dynasty on the south slope of the Nanda Hill in the southeast of the campus of Nanjing Forestry University.These tombs were all at the north of Xu Da's tomb.Among them,three Ming Dynasty tombs were arranged in a line oriented northwest to southeast.Based on the interpretation of their epitaphs,the three tomb owners were Xu Da's grandson,his great-grandson of the fifth generation,and a much later generation.The discovery of the three Xu Da's family tombs has a very important academic value in the investigation of the patterns of tomb arrangement in his family cemetery and completing his family lineage.
