石叶是一种特殊形态的石片。尝试回顾学术界对于石叶的定义,认为将石叶定义简化为长宽比2∶1的特殊石片是一种有区分度、便利于实际操作的客观分类标准,但这一名称不应包括技术和方法内涵。在研究石制品组合时,对于石叶的生产方法、技术特征要予以更细致的关注,判断其是否为有意为之或是偶然产生,其具体操作链为何。同时介绍了不同石叶的生产方法、技术特征,强调了在操作链理念指导下,模拟打制实验和拼合研究在石器研究中的作用。

A blade is a special form of a flake.This paper attempts to review the definition of Blade and defines Blade as a special stone piece with a aspect ratio of 2:1,which is a practical and operational classification.But this definition should not contain the technical or the methodological implications.When studying stone assembles,more attention should be paid to the blade production method and technical features,to judge whether it is produced intentionally or accidentally,and what the specific operation chain is.This paper also introduces the various methods to produce blades and their technical features,and points out the role of simulation and refitting methods in stone artifacts research guided by the concept of operation chain.
