成人教育的文化唯物主义省思——基于雷蒙德·威廉斯成人教育哲学思想的考察

Reflection on Cultural Materialism of Adult Education--Based on Raymond Williams’Philosophy of Adult Education

雷蒙德·威廉斯是英国新左派与伯明翰学派的重要代表人物,被誉为“文化马克思主义理论家”,在其进行学术研究之前曾大量从事成人教育实践工作,在此基础上,逐渐形成了以共同文化、教育传播、实践批判为代表的成人教育哲学思想。深度审视威廉斯的成人教育哲学思想,并以此为理论视域,反观成人教育的发展现状,思考成人教育发展的未来向度具有十分重要的意义。未来成人教育应当做到:文化走向生活,知识走向大众;传播立足于交流,技术立足于生命;成人教育即学习共同体,学习者即参与者。

“Cultural Marxist Theorist”——Raymond Williams,an important representative of the British New Left and Birmingham School,has engaged in a large number of adult education practice before his academic research.On this basis,the philosophy of adult education represented by common culture,educational spread and practical criticism has gradually formed.This paper examines Williams’philosophy of adult education in depth,and takes it as a theoretical perspective,to reflect the present situation of adult education development,and think about the future direction of adult education development.In the future,adult education should do the following:culture to life,knowledge to the public;spread based on communication,technology based on life;adult education is a learning community,and learners are participants.
