外交自古以来在一国的自身发展和国际社会中占有重要的地位,外交指的是国家发展对外关系,处理国际问题,贯彻本国对外战略与对外政策最常用、最基本、最重要的和平手段。而体育外交作为公共外交的重要组成部分,不仅是国家文化的重要载体,更在国家的对外行为中越来越凸显其重要作用,2018年在韩国平昌举行的冬奥会就是典型案例。

Since ancient times,diplomacy has played an important role in a country's development and international society.Diplomacy refers to the most common,basic and important means of peace for a country to develop its foreign relations,deal with international issues and implement its foreign strategy and foreign policy.As an important part of public diplomacy,it is not only an important carrier of national culture,but also plays an increasingly important role in the country's foreign behavior.The Winter Olympics held in pyeongchang,South Korea in 2018 is a typical case.
