我国高校教师发展中心的现实困境--基于期望理论分析 被引量:2

摘要 设立教师发展中心是提升我国高等教育质量的重要举措。通过以H高校教师发展中心为例开展个案研究,从教师视角切入,运用期望理论分析教师发展中心面临现实困境的深层次原因。研究发现目前教师发展中心存在的问题既有外部体制障碍,又有内部结构弊端,但最主要的症结在于教师发展中心尚不能完全满足教师的发展需要,提供的服务与教师的期望存在匹配错位现象,致使教师难有很强的获得感。教师发展中心未来应瞄准教师的发展需求,提升服务质量和水平,帮助教师发展。 The establishment of Faculty Development Center is an important measure to improve the quality of higher education in China.The paper takes Faculty Development Center H University as a case study to explores real predicament of Faculty Development Center from the teachers perspective,and uses expectancy theory to analyze the deep-seated causes of Faculty Development Center facing the real dilemma.The study finds that the problems existing in Faculty Development Center are both external institutional obstacles and internal structural disadvantages,but the main crux is that Faculty Development Center cannot fully meet the development teachers needs,the services provided mismatch teachers expectations,which makes it difficult for teachers to have a strong sense of gaining,resulting in teachers disappointment and dissatisfaction.Faculty Development Center in the future should aim at teacher s development needs,improve the quality and level of service,and help teachers to develop themselves.
