A Probe into the Significance of Ideological and Political Education for the Work of University Libraries

图书馆在高校中有重要的地位和作用,拥有多种资源优势,是高校开展思想政治教育工作重要环节,必将在相应教育工作中发挥独特作用。高校图书馆接触学生多,是加强巩固并延伸思想政治教育的基地。做好思想政治教育工作,就需要高校图书馆工作人员深入研究思想政治教育工作规律,了解学生身心特点,有针对性地进行课外教育。只有学校各单位齐抓共管,协调配合,互通有无,形成合力,才能对学生起到良好的教育效果。

The college library performs an important function and serves as an important link in carrying out ideological and political education due to its various resource advantages,and thus plays a unique role in the corresponding education work;meanwhile,the college library is the base to strengthen and extend the ideological and political education,because college students are more exposed to the library.In order perform its due function,librarians must thoroughly study the laws of ideological and political education,get acquainted with their physical and psychological characteristics,and carry out the targeted extra-curricular education.Only when all parties concerned work together,coordinate and cooperate with each other to form a resultant force,can ideological and political education have a good educational effect.
