On Deep Ecological Consciousness in Linda Hogan’s Solar Storm

琳达·霍根是美国本土裔契卡索女作家,其各种文学创作作品都集中关注了生态环境的主题,透露出一种强烈的社会责任感。不同于她的其他作品对生态女性主义、后殖民主义生态视角的关注,小说《太阳风暴》更多地体现了霍根的传统印第安生态观及其对深层生态学的思考。霍根借助小说呼吁人类摈弃人类中心主义思想,建立生物中心主义平等观,并最终实现生态自我,彰显了印第安人的生态智慧,唤醒人类作为生态共同体所应该具有的生态意识。

As an indigenous American Chicaso female writer,Linda Hogan’s various literary works focus on the theme of the ecological environment,revealing a strong sense of social responsibility.Different from her other works'insight into ecological feminism and post-colonial ecological perspective,the novel Solar Storm presents embodiment of Hogan's traditional Indian ecological view and its reflection on deep ecology.In the novel,Hogan calls on humans to abandon anthropocentric ideas,return to biocentric equality,and finally realize the ecological self,demonstrating the ecological wisdom of the Indians and awakening the ecological consciousness that mankind should hold as a part of ecological community.
