《八佰》是一首悲壮的史诗,在黑暗的最深处点燃了人性的光辉。在影片的摄影创作中,摄影指导曹郁通过还原历史情境的影像质感、现代派绘画风格的色彩基调、多重转换的视点调度,以及柔和、写意而富有冲突美感的光影处理,将观众带入到富有诗意的精神世界之中。正如《通天塔》结尾处写道:"最黑的夜,最亮的光",这正是曹郁对于《八佰》摄影风格的诠释,通过各种手段衬出苏州河北岸战争的残酷与凌厉,塑造出那夜里最耀眼的光芒。
