On Logistic Factors in the Decision-making of the Crossing-Yangtze Campaign

渡江战役中,渡江时间的决策是基于政治和军事考虑而做出的。其中,军事中的后勤因素对于渡江时间的决定起到了重要的作用。解放军渡江部队经过充分的准备,在长江以北各解放区人民的大力支持下,为渡江作战筹集了大量的物资与粮食,确保前方作战需求,渡江后群众工作的展开,保证了渡江战役的胜利进行。中共中央重视前线部队的后勤准备,在渡江时间的确定过程中尊重和采纳总前委关于后勤状况的报告与建议,取得了渡江战役的胜利。

In the Cross-Yangtze Campaign,the time for decision was based on political and military considerations,among which logistical factors played an important role in the decision of the time of crossing the Yangtze.After adequate preparations,the People’s Liberation Army Crossing Forces,with the strong support of the people in the Liberated Areas north of the Yangtze River,prepared plenty of materials and food for the crossing campaign,ensuring the victory of the Cross-Yangtze Campaign.The Central Committee of Chinese Communist Party attached great importance to the logistical preparations of the frontline troops.During the process of determining the crossing time,The Central Committee of Chinese Communist Party respected and adopted the reports and suggestions on the logistics situation from the General Political Consultative Committee and won the victory of the Cross-Yangtze Campaign.
