“Different Countries Sharing the Same Sky”:on Lord Nagaya’s Chinese Poems

长屋王是日本奈良时代的皇族、朝廷重臣,他爱好汉诗,是奈良时代重要的“文化赞助者”。现存其四首汉诗,分别收于《怀风藻》和《全唐诗》。其汉诗具有日本汉诗发端期的典型特点,文学价值虽然不高,但具有丰富的文化内涵,承袭了中国“诗赋外交”的传统,具有较高的文化价值。

As a royal family member and an important official in Nara era of Japan,Lord Nagaya loved Chinese poems and was an important“cultural sponsor”of that time.Now there are four Chinese poems left by him,which are collected in Kaifuso and Complete Tang Poems respectively.His poems have the typical characteristics of the beginning period of Chinese poetry in Japan,which embody rich cultural connotation in spite of moderate literary value.These poems have inherited China’s tradition of“poetry diplomacy”and they are of great cultural value.
