Objective To study the effect and impact of partial intravenous nutrition in the treatment of severe neonates. Methods A total of 74 cases of critically ill neonates admitted in our hospital's neonatal intensive care unit from June 2017 to August 2019 were randomly selected as research subjects and retrospective treatment studies were conducted.According to whether the family members of the children agreed to receive partial intravenous nutrition therapy, the sample size of the control group and the study group was 37 cases. The control group received basic nutrition intervention, and the study group received partial intravenous nutrition intervention. The body weight changes, clinical treatment indicators, and complication rates of the two groups of children were compared before and after nutritional intervention. Results There was no significant difference in the comparison of body weight between the two groups of patients when they were admitted to hospital,P>0.05;after different types of nutritional intervention, the body weight of the two groups of patients increased, compared with the control group and the study group. The total increase in body weight and the average daily increase in body weight after nutritional intervention were significantly higher in the children, and the duration of the NICU treatment, the length of the decrease in body weight, the total treatment time, and the incidence of complications decreased in the study group.Obviously, the cure rate of newborns was significantly improved,P<0.05.Conclusion The application of some intravenous nutrition support measures in the treatment of critically ill neonates can effectively meet the nutritional needs of early neonatal development, and at the same time ensure their normal growth and development, promote the relief and recovery of their own conditions, and the application effect is significant.
