石黑一雄是20世纪80年代十分出名的英籍日裔小说家。其小说《长日留痕》以达林顿庄园为空间背景,以二战后的英国为现实背景,以两次世界大战之间的英国为叙事背景,从不同的角度展示了作者对人生价值的反思。本文分析了其小说叙事风格的三个特点:不可靠性、碎片性和矛盾性。他用第一人称的视角进行叙述,渗透过去和现在,通过不可靠的叙述方式反映叙述者内心的挣扎和矛盾,同时利用记忆的碎片化和选择性,揭示作者的真情本性。

Ishiguro is a famous Japanese British novelist in the 1980s.His novel The Remains of The Day takes Darlington's house as the spatial background,Britain after World War II as the realistic background,and Britain between the two world wars as the narrative background and shows the author's reflection of the life.This paper analyzes three characteristics of the narrative style of the novel:unreliability,fragmentation and contradiction.He narrates from the perspective of the first person,penetrates the past and the present,reflects the inner struggle and contradiction of the narrator through the unreliable narration,and reveals the true nature of the author through the fragmentation and selectivity of the memory.
