摘要
本文收集和整理了华北板块南缘石炭-二叠纪含生物碎屑灰岩的显微图像。选择豫西地区跨潟湖-局限台地-开阔台地-斜坡多相带的3条太原组野外剖面为研究对象,对代表性的图像及其岩石特征进行分类描述。样品以灰泥含量较高的含生物碎屑粒泥灰岩为主要特征。利用装有显微照相系统的蔡司偏光显微镜对灰岩薄片进行观察和照相。灰岩显微图像集共包含95件灰岩样品,380张显微照片,可分为泥晶灰岩、泥粒灰岩和粒泥灰岩3类。本图像集的建立可为研究晚古生代大冰期时北半球中纬度地区的古气候、古环境、古生物面貌及相带沉积分异提供基本素材和参考。
In this study,we collected and sorted out the limestone micrographs of three sections from the Permo-Carboniferous Taiyuan Formation in western Henan,spanning a multiphase zone including lagoon,restricted platform,open platform and slope.We collected 380 microscopic images of 95 limestone samples falling onto three categories,namely,mudstones,wackstones and packstones,among which bioclastic wackstone is the dominant rock type as the limestone samples are rich in bioclastic grains.The limestone thin sections were observed and photographed by a Zeiss polarizing microscope equipped with a photomicrography system.The dataset can be used to understand the paleoclimate,paleoenvironment,paleontological features and facies zone in the northern Hemisphere during the Late Paleozoic Ice Age.It also provides a possible standard and reference for limestone microfacies research in the future.
