Legend and Realism:An Analysis of Folk Forms in Modern Narrative Poetry

叙事诗自古以来就与民间社会有密切关联,它起源于民间,流传于民间,表现民间社会。中国现代叙事诗继承了古代叙事诗的民间传统,在诗歌的内容和形式上都呈现出鲜明的民间形态。诗歌题材中的民间神话与传说以及对民间社会的写照,诗歌表现形式上的民间特征共同构成了现代叙事诗的民间形态。

Narrative poetry has been closely related to the folk society since ancient times.It originated from and spread among the broad masses,to represent the folk society.Chinese modern narrative poetry inherits the folk tradition of ancient narrative poetry and presents a distinct style in both content and form.The folk form of modern narrative poetry consists of following elements:the myths and legends in the theme;the portrayal of the folk society;and the characteristics of folklore in the form of poetic expression.
