The fourth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee makes a new summary of the basic socialist economic system and pointed out the direction for the modernization of national governance.The remarkable strength of basic socialist economic system should be transformed into governance efficiency through governance system and governance capabilities,thus producing economic and social benefits and demonstrate the superiority of socialist system with Chinese characteristics.How to grasp the connotation of the basic socialist economic system and transform the institutional strength into governance efficiency is worthy of further study.Journal of Economic Review held a seminar of“basic socialist economic system and modernization of national governance”.Experts Focused on the theme of the meeting,discussing from multiple perspectives such as macro and micro,history and reality,theory and practice,deeply explaining the theoretical logic of the basic socialist economic system and the“trinity”system innovation.Combining with the specific research direction,the innovation of basic socialist economic system was studied from the angle of modernization of national governance,and the development path and experience of China from the angle of history,the direction of ownership reform,the status and function of the socialist distribution system,and the road to the exploration of the socialist market economy were actively evaluated.
