摘要
通过常规宝石学方法以及红外光谱、X荧光能谱对一仿“夜明珠”的宝石进行宝石学特征研究。结果表明样品经过人工覆膜处理,表层是含锶的长余辉发光物质的不饱和聚酯(醇酸类树脂);其内部成分为碳酸钙。此仿“夜明珠”的宝石学名称为方解石(覆膜处理)。
Gemmological characteristics and identification of a luminous-pearl-like imitation were tested with the conventional gemological methods including FTIR and XRF.The results indicated that the sample was artificially coated with a layer of unsaturated polyester(alkyd resin)containing a kind oflong-lasting phosphorescencematerial with Sr;Its internal component was CaCO3.So the gemological name of the luminous pearlimitationwasgiven as calcite(being coated).
