电视同传的自我修补及其动因研究——基于奥巴马就职演讲两个同传版本的实证研究

Self repair and its possible factors in TV simultaneous interpreting based on an empirical study of Obama’s inaugural address

基于心理语言学对言语修补的分析框架,以专业译员真实的电视同传译文为研究语料,基于奥巴马就职演讲电视直播的两个同传版本的实证研究,发现错误检测频次低、语流中断位置合理、修补方式恰当是电视同传自我修补的三大特征。此外,修补动因包括译员的语篇阐释抉择能力、心理词汇提取能力和口译期待规范意识等三个因素,这三个因素交互作用,共同影响着电视译员的自我修补过程。

Based on the psycholinguistic analysis framework of speech repair,two TV simultaneous interpreting versions for Obama’s inaugural address were studied.The result showed that low frequency of error detection,reasonable interruption position of language flow,and proper way of repair are the three characteristics of self repair in TV simultaneous interpreting.It also suggested that the factors of repair include the interpreter’s ability of discourse interpretartion and choice,ability of psychological lexicon extraction and consciousness of expectancy norm,which are interactive and jointly influence the procss of self repair of TV interpreters.
