Expression of serum ET-1,VEGF and NSE in children with EV71 infection

目的探讨血清内皮素-1(Endothelin-1,ET-1)、血管内皮细胞生长因子(Vascular endothelial growth factor,VEGF)、神经元特异性烯醇化酶(Neuron specific enolase,NSE)表达与肠道病毒71型(EV71)感染患儿病情及预后的关系。方法选取2017年4月-2019年6月安徽省宿州市立医院198例EV71感染手足口病患儿为研究组,同期92例健康受试儿童为对照组。比较两组研究对象血清ET-1、VEGF、NSE水平,分析研究组内不同病情程度及不同预后患儿血清ET-1、VEGF、NSE水平差异,应用Spearman相关分析探究血清ET-1、VEGF、NSE表达与EV71感染患儿病情及预后的关联性。结果研究组血清ET-1、VEGF、NSE水平均高于对照组(P<0.05);研究组患儿病情越严重上述指标水平越高(P<0.05),预后较差患儿血清ET-1、VEGF、NSE水平高于预后良好患儿(P<0.05);Spearman相关分析可知,血清ET-1、VEGF、NSE水平与EV71感染患儿病情程度呈正相关,与预后呈负相关(P<0.05)。结论EV71感染患儿血清ET-1、VEGF、NSE表达均显著增高,表达与患儿病情及预后具有密切关系。

OBJECTIVE To explore the correlation between the expression of serum endothelin-1(ET-1),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),neuron specific enolase(NSE)and the illness condition and prognosis of the children with enterovirus 71(EV71)infection.METHODS Totally 198 hand foot and mouth disease children with EV71 infection who were treated in Suzhou City Hospital,Anhui Province from Apr 2017 to Jun 2019 were chosen as the study group,meanwhile,92 healthy children who received physical examination were set as the control group.The levels of serum ET-1,VEGF and NSE were compared between the two groups of study objects,the levels of serum ET-1,VEGF and NSE were compared among the children with different disease severity and prognosis in the study group,and the correlation between the expression of serum ET-1,VEGF and NSE and the illness condition and prognosis of the children with EV71 infection was explored by means of Spearman correlation analysis.RESULTS The levels of serum ET-1,VEGF and NSE of the study group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The more severe the illness condition of the children,the higher the levels of the above indexes(P<0.05).The levels of serum ET-1,VEGF and NSE of the children with poor prognosis were significantly higher than those of the children with favorable prognosis(P<0.05).Spearman correlation analysis showed that the levels of serum ET-1,VEGF and NSE were positively correlated with the illness condition of the children with EV71 infection and were negatively correlated with the prognosis(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The levels of serum ET-1,VEGF and NSE of the children with EV71 infection are significantly elevated and are closely associated with the illness condition and prognosis of the children.
