In The Analects of Confucius,Confucius and his disciples made a detailed exposition of filial piety,the quintessence of Confucius’s ideological system.Confucius inherited and developed the concept of filial piety in Zhou Dynasty,and divided it into three levels:love oneself,love relatives and love others.Filial piety is the foundation for individuals to live in the world and the moral basis for maintaining social harmony and stability.Strengthening the research of filial piety culture is of great significance to cultivating and practicing the socialist core values,constructing a harmonious society and enhancing cultural confidence.
