“绝世而独立”是西汉李延年《歌》的一句。以往,阐释者只理解它的语文学含义,实则它有一个相当深厚的文化人类学背景,涉及上古的婚姻制度、妇女的生存状态及后世的倡优、神仙法术等诸多民俗。只有从民俗学材料出发来解读其意,才能给“绝世而独立”以正解。

“Unique and independent”is a line of song written by Li Yannian in the Western Han Dynasty.In the past,the interpreter only understood its philological meaning,but in fact it has a rather profound cultural anthropology background,involving the ancient marriage system,the living state of women and the later generations of advocates,immortal magic and many other folk customs.Only from the point of view of folklore materials,can we give a correct explanation of“unique and independent”.
