“中国模式”下的选择性接受——毛姆中国译介的选材与接受偏差

毛姆作品在中国的译介已有百年历史,在不同历史时期,国内对毛姆作品的翻译是有选择性地侧重于其某一类作品,这与不同时期的社会文化语境与现实需要息息相关。梳理毛姆作品在中国的译介和接受过程,分析其在中国读者中的接受偏差,进而阐释造成毛姆中国译介选材偏差及"中国模式"下选择性接受的深层次原因,有助于我们进一步深入认识毛姆,更新国内对其研究,为推进外来文学本土化研究提供补充和借鉴。

The translation of Maugham’s works in China, which has undergone one hundred years or so, shows various trends in different historical stages. Translators selectively choose different works to translate in specific historical stages, which is closely related to different social and cultural backgrounds. Based on the translation and reception of Maugham’s works in China,this paper analyzes the accepting differences between Chinese and Western readers, as well as the underlying reasons for selection bias, which are conducive to our deep understanding of Maugham and can provide beneficial reference for the study of foreign literature.
