再论吐蕃告身制度和大虫皮制度的两个问题

Extend Discussion on Gaoshen System and Tiger Skin System in Tubo Period

吐蕃授予佛教宗师和寺院规范师金、银等级别的告身,其他地方中下级僧官和普通僧人则授予木质水纹告身--牌子,这一做法有其特殊之处,吐蕃政权从未取消给宗教人士授予告身的规定。吐蕃六勇饰的规格等级应以《弟吴教法源流》的记载为准,后来又有所发展变化。吐蕃授予立功者不同规格的虎豹皮制品及相应称号,被授予者获得一定品级的官员身份,但是虎豹皮制品可以由被授予者自备,不一定要由官府授予。

Tubo regime had been awarding golden and Silver Gaoshen to bcom ldan vdas kyi ring lugs(highest monk officer in Tubo Period)and chos grwa slob dpon(highest monk officer in Khrom),awarding other local monk officers and monks with wooden Gaoshen(Paizi).Gaoshen system has a particular role in Tubo regime period and kept this system throughout the whole period.The Six Sets of Brave Man’s Ornaments’specification should consistent with the record of rgya bod kyi chos vbyung rgyas pa,and had some changes afterwards.Tubo regime awarded different meritorious people with different titles and tiger and leopard skin productions(can be prepared by those meritorious people themselves),bestowed official rank saccordingly.
