Modern information technology has been widely used in English classroom teaching in the form of text,sound and image.It can present the teaching content directly and vividly in front of students,help English vocabulary teaching,English listening and speaking teaching,optimize English classroom teaching effect,strengthen English reading teaching,realize layered assignment and complete inspection,which can improve the quality of English classroom teaching It has positive significance.Based on the practice of English classroom teaching,this paper discusses the application strategies of information technology in English classroom.
