In depth analysis of relay protection fault and taking corresponding measures can ensure the stable operation of power system.This paper discusses the common types and causes of relay protection faults in power system,elaborates the replacement method,subsection treatment method and reference method,and specifically introduces the fault detection,adaptive control and automatic management,hoping to provide assistance for the development of power system relay protection technology.
