In a catalytic cracking unit, the flue gas of boiler No.3 has a high CO concentration(about 6.3%),and the wastewater of No.2 desulfurization and denitrification section has a high ammonia-nitrogen concentration. The above problems are alleviated by adding RDNOx-PC2 additive without affecting the cracking capacity and residue oil blending volume. The analysis in this paper indicates that RDNOx-PC2 additives can effectively reduce the high CO concentration in the flue gas from boiler No.3(from 6.3%to 4.6%),and the high ammonia-nitrogen concentration in the wastewater(from>150 mg/L to 40-60 mg/L).During the operation of adding RDNOx-PC2 additive, there is no adverse effect on the catalytic cracking unit, and the discharge of waste gas is also up to standard, achieving good application results.
