当今世界很多工程领域都爆发出严重的伦理问题,残酷的现实呼唤伦理教育。工程师必须把公众的“安全、健康、福祉”放在首位。工程实践既是一种技艺,更是一种德行,工程师具有良好的“伦理认知、伦理判断、伦理决策”的能力尤为重要。工程伦理就是“以道驭技、道技合一”,弘扬理性精神。工程师应理解好“法理、情理、伦理”三者的关系,完成工程项目的时候尽力做到“人与人、人与社会、人与自然”和谐共生,“以人为本”,更要“以生命为本”。

Nowadays,serious ethical problems have occurred in many engineering fields around the world,and this cruel reality calls for ethical education.Engineers must put the“Safety,Health and Happiness”of the public at the first place.Engineering practice is not only a skill,but also a virtue.It is particularly important for engineers to have good abilities of“Ethical cognition,Ethical judgment and Ethical decision-making”.Engineering ethics is to“Control technology with Tao and Integrate technology with Tao”and to carry forward the spirit of rationality.They need to understand the relationship between“Jurisprudence,Reason and Ethics”well.When completing the project,they should achieve the harmonious coexistence between“People and People,People and Society,People and Nature”.Most importantly,the idea of“People-oriented”should be based on“Life-oriented”.
