Foundation of Cultural Construction in Anti-Japanese Base Areas in Central Jiangsu

苏中抗日根据地是抗战时期全国重要的抗日根据地,亦是华中八个抗日根据地之一。苏中抗日根据地属于物产丰富的平原水网地区,襟江带海,人口众多,工商业活跃,经济文化发达。同时交通便利,又靠近宁沪杭等大都市,文化名人聚集,知识分子众多,苏中抗日根据地的文化建设正是这样的背景下展开的。

The Central Jiangsu Anti-Japanese Base Area was an important anti-Japanese base area in the whole country during the Anti-Japanese War.It was also one of the eight anti-Japanese bases in Central China.The Anti-Japanese Base Area in Central Jiangsu belongs to the plain water network area with abundant products,with a large population,active industry and commerce,and developed economy and culture.Transportation is c onvenient,but also close to Ningbo,Shanghai and Hangzhou and other big cities,cultural celebrities gathered,many intellectuals.Because of the good foundation of cultural construction,its cultural and educational undertakings are very active,and the construction of culture and education has also made considerable progress.
