洛杉矶公共图书馆的代际阅读服务及其启示

Intergenerational Reading Service of the Los Angeles Public Library and Its Enlightenment

作为一种新型阅读推广方式,代际阅读可为我国积极应对人口老龄化和全民阅读提供一条创新路径。文章通过邮件访谈、当面访谈和实地调研等方式考察了美国洛杉矶公共图书馆的代际阅读服务实践,就其发展背景及演变历程、具体运作、核心理念展开了介绍与分析,并从密切关注社区需求、加强特殊群体服务、创新志愿服务形式、推广代际服务理念和代际阅读实践、加强对话式阅读的理论研究和实践推广等方面提出了我国公共图书馆的经验借鉴。

As a new type of reading promotion, intergenerational reading could be an innovative way for reading promotion and deal with the aging population. The practice of intergenerational reading service in Los Angeles Public Library(LAPL) was investigated by email, face-toface interview and field survey. The development background, evolution history, operation and core concept are introduced and analyzed in the paper. It points out that domestic libraries should promote intergenerational reading service in the following aspects: paying close attention to community needs, strengthening services for specific groups, innovating volunteer service forms, promoting the idea and activities of intergenerational reading, and focusing on theory and practice of dialogue reading.
