进入21世纪后,若能运用某种现代建筑设计手法与理论,结合地域文化特色,就能创作出既有思想性又有文化性的建筑作品。本文针对杭州地区的地方特色、文化与传统的关系,以向江来时代中心的创作设计为例,对城市新区建筑设计及地方建筑特色进行探讨和创新,浅析其建设过程以及由其引出的反响和探讨。

In the 21 st century, using some modern architectural design techniques and theories and combining with the regional cultural characteristics can create the architectural works with both ideology and culture. In view of the local characteristics of Hangzhou, as well as the relationship between culture and tradition, this paper takes the creative design of Xiajianglai Times Center as an example to discuss and innovate the architectural design and local architectural characteristics of the new urban area, and analyzes its construction process and its response and discussion.
