This paper mainly describes the importance of constantly improving the fire protection design in architectural design, so as to strengthen the safety performance guarantee of the application of fire protection design in architectural design, to remind people to attach great importance to the awareness of fire protection in a safe living environment, which is related to the safety of people’s lives and property. However, it is very difficult to carry out fire protection design planning scientifically and rationally in the actual architectural design. It is necessary to give consideration to the usability and aesthetics of buildings, and to highlight fire protection layout and technology through design, which requires professional fire protection designers with sufficient professional knowledge and skills. Accordingly, it requires to undertake the reasonable layout and scientific plan of the internal and external structure of the building and take professional fire protection technology as safeguard so that effective measures can be taken to ensure that the building has corresponding safety and fire protection functions.
