《背面仕女图》与民国北京画坛“二白”之争

“Ancient Beauty on the Back”and the Controversy of Wang Mengbai and Qi Baishi in the Beijing Art Circle of the Republic of China

北京画院收藏的两幅《背面仕女图》分别出自王梦白和齐白石之手,此二画的创作时间多被误解,实则从各自的交往关系中可以推出画作的背景及大抵创作时间。齐白石应友人之索临摹王梦白的作品,并略作改动,从中可以看出两人之间的微妙关系。

The two paintings of"Ancient Beauty on the Back"collected by the Beijing Fine Art Academy are respectively from Wang Mengbai and Qi Baishi.The creation time of these two paintings is often misunderstood.In fact,the background and approximate creation time of the paintings can be derived from their respective relationships.Qi Baishi copied Wang Mengbai’s work with his friend’s request,and made slight changes.The delicate relationship between them can be seen therefrom.
