文化遗产保护不仅是一个时代性的重要课题,也是当今世界的一个重要社会现象。目前,对遗产的认识和实践已形成了一个特殊的知识体系——遗产学。而中国作为一个拥有5000年文明历史、50多个民族的大国,已积累了无比丰富的历史文化遗产。未来中国文化的发展也必然不能脱离保护、传承和利用好这些文化遗产的轨道。然而,社会大众对于工艺文化遗产,尤其是工艺文化遗产的传统属性、传承与创新这两个最基本的问题,尚存在着一些含糊不清的认识,有必要做进一步的厘清。

Cultural heritage protection is not only an important topic of the times, but also an important social phenomenon in the world today. Now, the knowledge and practice of heritage has formed a special knowledge system——Heritage Science. As a big country with a history of 5000 years and more than 50 nationalities, China has accumulated a wealth of historical and cultural heritage, In the future, the development of Chinese culture cannot be separated from the track of protecting, inheriting and utilizing these cultural heritages. However, there are still some vague understandings among the public about the two most basic problems of craft cultural heritage, especially its traditional nature, inheritance and innovation, which need to be further clarified.
