博士生申请考核制实施效果及其归因初探——基于对7320名博士生导师的问卷调查

申请考核制已成为国内高校博士生招生的主要方式。申请考核制生源在专业基础、学习动机、学术志趣、科研发展潜力等方面表现较好。回归结果表明,控制导师身份变量后,申请考核政策方案设计、导师考核行为偏好以及政策配套机制等因素所包含的多个自变量均对生源质量有显著正向影响。导师在意申请人院校教育背景对生源质量有微弱正向影响,考核中保留笔试、给予导师组招生决定权对提升生源质量有非常显著负向影响。保障申请考核生源质量的对策包括方案设计中加大面试考核权重、改进笔试考核方式;保障导师招生权,规范导师招生行为;发挥导师与导师组协同招生作用;完善招生监督制约机制以及招生业务培训等配套机制建设。

Holistic review enrollment is the main way to recruit doctoral students in domestic universities,the doctoral students selected through this system perform well in professional basis,learning motivation,academic interest and research development potential,etc.The results show that most of the independent variables from policy design,implementation and supervisors assessment have a significantly positive impact on the matriculate quality after treating tutor as control variable in multiple regression model.Among them,recruiting students from high-level universities for supervisors has a positive impact on improving the matriculate quality,but it is very limited.Keeping written examination or giving the panel decision-making power of admission has a significantly negative impact on the quality.It is necessary for ensuring the matriculate quality to improve the weight of interview,to improve the written examination,to strengthen the supervision and restriction mechanism of enrollment,and to allocate the decision-making power of recruiting student between the supervisor and the panel properly.
