The History and Function of the Hanwang Temple in Thailand

泰国曼谷的汉王庙,又名“鞋厂庙”,是泰国全境唯一一座祭祀“康太宝刘汉公王”的庙宇,该庙坐落于泰国曼谷市石隆军路。目前,庙宇由泰国客家总会下辖的神庙保管委员会管理。泰国客属汉王庙,系移民曼谷的福建籍客家人创建,其所在社区新兴社亦曾为福建永定客家移民社区,至今尚有不少客籍华裔能够听、说永定客家方言。因此,该庙是了解福建籍客家族群移民曼谷,以及在曼谷发展的重要历史依据。

Han Wang Gong Shrine in Bangkok,Thailand,also known as "RongKueak Shrine",is the only temple in Thailand that worships "Kang Tai Bao Liu Han Gong Wang",which is located at Yotha Road,Talat Noi Sub-district,Samphanthawong District,Bangkok.At present,the temple is managed by the Temple Storage Committee under the jurisdiction of the Thai Hakka Association.The Hanwang Temple,which was established by the Fujian-born Hakkas who lived in Bangkok.The community’s emerging community was also the Hakka immigrant community in Yongding,Fujian.Now,many people can listen to and say Yongding Hakka dialect.Therefore,the temple is an important historical basis for studying the immigration of the Fujian Hakka people in Bangkok and in Thailand.
