Archiater of TCM CHEN Huiqing’s experience in the treatment of chronic cough in children based on syndrome differentiation

陈辉清主任中医师从“风”“痰”“虚”“瘀”探讨小儿慢性咳嗽的病因病机,将此病分为痰湿咳、肺热咳、阴虚风伏咳、气阴两虚咳4个证型,分别治以宣肺行气、化痰降逆,清热泻肺、宣肃肺气,滋阴润燥、宣肺止咳,益气健脾、养阴润肺,临床疗效显著,为小儿慢性咳嗽的诊治提供了思路和方法。附案例4则,以资验证。

This paper summarizes archiater of TCM CHEN Huiqing’s discussion on the etiology and pathogenesis of chronic cough in children from“wind”,“phlegm”,“deficiency”and“stasis”.The disease is classified into four syndrome types:phlegm-dampness cough,cough due to pulmonary heat,yin deficiency and latent wind cough,and deficiency of both qi and yin cough.They are treated respectively with dispersing lung to regulate qi as well as resolving phlegm to descend adverse flow of qi,clearing away heat to purge lung of pathogenic fire as well as dispersing and depurating pulmonary qi,nourishing yin to moisten dryness as well as dispersing lung to stop cough,and replenishing qi to invigorate spleen as well as nourishing yin to moisten lung,which has obtained marked clinical effects,providing ideas and methods for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic cough in children.Four cases are attached for verification.
