This paper introduces Chinese medicine archiater HOU Chunguang’s experience in using classical prescription to treat children with paruria.Mr Hou points out that in clinical differentiation and treatment,he not only treats according to syndrome differentiation and corresponds prescription with syndrome,but also inspects and grasps the key of pathogenesis,and lists the typical cases of using classical prescription to treat children with paruria,namely Maxing Ganshi Tang(麻杏甘石汤),Wuling San(五苓散),Chaihu Ji(柴胡剂),Sini San(四逆散),Banxia Houpu Tang(半夏厚朴汤),and Zhizichi Tang(栀子豉汤)etc.,which fully explains that as long as the syndrome differentiation is accurate and the selection of prescription is consistent with the pathogenesis,the classical prescription can play the best efficacy with simple medicine.
