摘要 [目的]研究EDTA对镉胁迫下玉米种子发芽的促进作用,为在污染土壤环境下进行作物种子发芽提供理论和技术支持。[方法]在砂土盆钵里进行玉米种子发芽试验,分别用不同浓度氯化镉以及EDTA+氯化镉处理观察种子发芽率。[结果]高浓度氯化镉显著抑制玉米种子发芽,但是添加EDTA后能显著提高镉胁迫下种子发芽率。药理学试验证明,EDTA增强的发芽能力与镉诱导的活性氧毒害有密切关系。[结论]EDTA与镉螯合后可减轻镉的活性氧毒害,从而提高种子发芽率。 [Objective]To investigate the effects of EDTA on maize seed germination under Cd stress,and to provide theoretical and technical support for the seed germination operation under contaminated soil environment.[Method]The seed germination test was carried out in sand basin.Treatments of different cadmium chlorideat concentrations and EDTA+cadmium chloride were adopted for seed germination rate.[Result]Cadmium chloride at high concentration could significantly inhibit the seed germination of maize,but adding EDTA could significantly enhance the seed germination rate under Cd stress.Pharmacological tests proved that germinating ability improvement by EDTA was closely related to the reactive oxygen toxicity induced by Cd.[Conclusion]EDTA mediated seed germination improvement under Cd stress can be partly attributed to the attenuation of ROS levels by formation of Cd-EDTA complex.
