摘要
[目的/意义]探析激发公众高度关注的论文分布的潜在模式和特征以及公众与科学界对科学问题关注的偏好特征,为将Altmetrics分数与Web of Science计量指标相结合应用于科研评价提供参考。[方法/过程]选取2019年Altmetrics TOP100论文与Web of Science核心合集被引频次TOP100论文为数据集,利用基本统计方法和可视化方法分析两个数据集合论文的基本特征;利用Spearman相关性分析方法,分析Altmetrics指标与论文被引频次之间的相关性。[结果/结论]高被引论文与Altmetrics高分论文集合重叠率非常低;Altmetrics分数与被引频次相关性很低;Dimensions、Mendeley、Blog、Wikipedia指标可作为识别高被引论文的指标;Altmetrics高分论文更加注重“话题性”,而WOS高被引论文则更加注重对问题的理论、专业技术的研究。Altmetrics信息源广泛、指标多样性、反馈速度快、影响力广泛,是对传统引文计量指标的发展和补充,它与传统文献计量指标相结合能够更好地用于影响力评价。
[Purpose/significance]The paper studies the potential patterns and characteristics of the distribution of papers that attract the public’s high attention as well as the preferences of the public and the scientific community on scientific issues so as to provide references for the application of Altmetrics score and web of science measurement indicators in scientific research evaluation.[Method/process]The paper selects Top100 cited papers from Web of Science and Altmetrics Top100 papers and use basic statistical methods and visualization methods to analyze the basic characteristics of the two data set papers.Then the paper utilizes Spearman correlation analysis method to analyze the correlation between Altmetrics scores and citation frequency.[Result/conclusion]The overlap rate of high-cited papers and Altmetrics high-scoring papers is very low.Altmetrics scores and citation frequency are very low correlation.Altmetrics high-scoring papers pay more attention to“topicality”while WOS highly cited papers pay more attention to the theory and professional technical research.With its wide range of information sources diversity of metrics fast feedback and broad impact Altmetrics is a great addition to traditional citation metrics.Combined with traditional bibliometric indicators it can be better used for impact evaluation.
