Iron deficiency anemia(IDA)is a common nutrient deficiency,and it has become a global public health problem identified by the World Health Organization.Studies have shown that IDA remains prevalent in both developing and developed countries,such as Australia and China,and that IDA may be associated with poorer cognitive and neurophysiologic maturation in early life and causes labor productivity losses,developmental delays,men tai and behavior disorders,and peri natal complicati ons in pregna nt and preme nopausal women[1].
