Intangible Cultural Heritage:From History to Aesthetics

非物质文化遗产是对历史与当下关系连续性的认识,这种文化遗产保护观念基于活的历史观,把历史从过去的生活经验遗存转化为当代人能够理解、感受、体验的审美意象嵌入当代空间,从而使得非遗文化对当代社会具有活的精神价值。这种转化需要基于非遗保护意识的美学研究,即把美学视域从传统美学所限定的"大传统"中拓展开来,形成"大传统"与"小传统"整合的更大的美学视域。

Intangible cultural heritage is the understanding of the continuity in the relationship between history and the present.This concept of cultural heritage protection is based on a living historical view,transforming history from the remnants of past life experience into aesthetic images that can be understood,felt and experienced by contemporary people and embedding them in contemporary space so that intangible cultural heritage is of living spiritual value to contemporary society.This transformation requires aesthetic research based on the awareness of intangible heritage protection, that is,expanding the aesthetic horizon from the "major tradition" defined by traditional aesthetics,and forming a larger aesthetic horizon integrating major and minor traditions.
