摘要政治人物的绰号即“政治绰号”反映了当时的政治生态、社会状况或人们的精神面貌。美国总统作为美国社会中最重要的“公众形象”,既是一个工作岗位,也是一种社会现象。美国总统“政治绰号”既有自嘲式也有被嘲式;特征鲜明、寓意深刻的美国总统“政治绰号”或因为这些总统历史上的政治建树、为人品行、行为赞誉诋毁而获得,或因为相关事件性质而获得。 Political nicknames reflect the political ecology and social conditions at that time,as well as the spiritual outlooks of the people.American presidents'nicknames include self-deprecating and ridiculing political nicknames,whose vivid,symbolically important metaphorical expressions originated from the presidents'political achievements,acts of slander or praise,and related events.
