Basic and clinical progress of research on posterior and internal lumbar fixation using PEEK rod

脊柱内固定装置经过50余年的发展不断推陈出新,从20世纪60年代的哈氏棒开始,到20世纪90年代出现动态固定的概念,脊柱内固定系统的理念不断发展、完善,设计也越来越贴近生理和临床。现在多维度、动态固定的理念逐渐被各国学者及脊柱外科医师所接受并使用。本文通过回顾腰椎内固定装置发展的大致历程,总结与腰椎内固定相关的热点问题,分析聚醚醚酮(PEEK)棒的生物力学基础研究及其应用于腰椎内固定的现状。

Spinal internal fixation device has been progressing in the past 50 years,beginning with the Harrington rod in 1960s,then dynamic fixation in 1990s,the conception of spinal internal fixation has continuously developed,and its design also becomes increasingly close to clinical.Muti-dimension and dynamic fixation has been accepted and applied currently by scholars from different countries and spinal surgeons gradually.By retrospecting the development history of lumbar internal fixation,to sum up hot topics and analyze the basic biomechanics research of polyetheretherketone rod and its application in this field.
