区域社会史研究通过文献分析和田野调查,将长时间跨度的历史变迁大脉络投射于一定的区域,是广大学者不断探索"新史学"研究方法的有益尝试,极大地扩展了史学研究的领域。《元明以降淮北地区社会变迁研究》一书,厘清了淮河流域社会变迁研究的相关概念和基本关系,是梁家贵教授多年来勤勉治学和潜心耕耘的结果,充分显示了作者广阔的研究视野和治学功底,也为淮河文化研究向纵深发展做出了积极贡献。

Through literature analysis and field investigation,the study of regional social history projects the long-span historical changes to a certain region,which is a beneficial attempt for the majority of scholars to explore the research methods of New Historiography,and greatly expands the field of historical research.The book Research on Social Change in Region North of the Huaihe River since Yuan and Ming Dynasties clarifies the related concepts and basic relations of social change research in Huaihe River Basin.It is the result of Professor Liang Jiagui’s years of hard work.It fully shows the author’s broad research vision and academic foundation,and also makes positive contributions to the development of Huaihe River culture research in depth.
